This page provides some information on how you can become a contributing author to this website. You may be able to earn some money (or promote your business) by doing so.
To qualify, you will need to be a professional who has some expertise and something to say that may be of help to the general public. Also, you will need to be able to write about complex topics in a clear and simple way.
Background
The Team Technology and MetaRasa websites currently get around 40 million hits each year, and growing. The sites have a good standing in the search engines, which means that new articles often appear near the top of relevant keyword searches.
Of our 3 or 4 million visitors each year, our research suggests that more than half of them are professional people with degrees. Visitors from the UK and North America make up the larger population, but we have large volumes of visitors from many other places as well. They are often looking for basic information about a topic that is new to them. That is, they want:
useful information;
simple English;
concise descriptions;
high quality expertise.
We are looking for original articles that are written by experts.
What is in it for you?
There are two ways that you might benefit. The first is to get income from the advertising that appears on your article pages. This will depend on Google approving you as an author. You retain 70% of the online advertising revenue provided by Google. In most cases, you are likely to earn far more publishing at our site than your own, because of the higher search engine rankings and volumes that we achieve.
The second potential benefit is that you could promote your business. For example, suppose you own a camera shop or provide photography services. You could then write articles about photography or publish new camera reviews. In our system, you can display information about you in the article. This could include a link to contact you, a company logo and, from your profile page, a link to your website.
You could even get both benefits by sharing revenue on some articles, and promoting your company on others.
